Worship Committee

The Worship Committee shall have oversight of the worship life of the congregation, seeing that the Word of God is preached and the Sacraments administered according to the faith and practices of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and that members of the congregation are enabled to respond with liturgical acts of confession, prayer, praise, thanksgiving, and with tithes and offerings.  It shall assist members to acknowledge God’s rule over their lives, their own unity of Christ’s body on earth, and to express their relationship with God in public and private.  It shall see that appropriate worship materials are used, and shall recruit, equip, and support members for leadership in worship.  It shall see that worship has a place in all functions of the congregation.
