3rd-5th Grade Youth Group

Crazie Christians

Children in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade have their own Youth Group to call home.  This group of kids gets together monthly for fun activities, such as “make-your-own-pizza” night, bowling, or water-park outings.  For information on upcoming events, contact Ann McNamara  annmc1@comcast.net  or Vikki Granger  vlg517@skybeam.com

FEBRUARY

February 26th  11:45-3:00  Crackpots/Empty Bowl Service Project – Bible Buddies welcome!

Pizza will be provided at church.  We will then drive to Longmont to paint bowls at Crackpots on Main St. for Our Center (similar to sister Carmen’s) who uses these bowls in their annual fundraiser and silent auction.The cost will be $12.00 per person and we donate the bowls when we are done.  Financial assistance is available if needed.   Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall or contact Vikki at vlg517@skybeam.com for more information.

March 16th 6:00-8:00 PM  St. Patrick’s Day Pizza/Bunko Party

In honor of St. Patricks Day bring a fun fact about the saint to dinner.  We will start with pizza and then teach the kids to play Bunko.  $3.00 per person for food.  Sign up in the Fellowship Hall or contact Vikki at vlg517@skybeam.com for more information.

APRIL

April 15h 11:30- 2:30 Lutheran Family Services Service Project and Matinee

The youth group will watch a short video about the project while eating pizza and then assemble the book bags for the group from the items that have been collected during March.  Once finished the group will watch a movie (TBA).  $3.00 per person for food and a donation for the bags.  Please sign up in the Fellowship Hall or contact Vikki at vlg517@skybeam.com for more information.

 

FIRST COMMUNION

First Communion is one of the milestones celebrated at CTS. We want to recognize and celebrate its importance. Traditionally, First Communion has been a milestone for 3rd graders. This year we would especially like t invite 3rd graders as well as any older children who have not yet participated, and any children who parents feel are ready for First Communion. Please see the Children’s Ministry board for sign up.

We will have instruction and bread baking for children and their parents on March 17th, 1-3pm and celebrate First Communion at the services that weekend.
