Women’s Ministries

Friendship is one of God’s special gifts – especially between women.  By connecting with other people, you move from “attending church” to experiencing a sense of belonging within the church community. Women are relational beings who need to connect, and in order to do this we must feel comfortable with each other and get to know one another. As women, we look to other women to help us understand and shape our lives including developing and deepening our relationship with Christ.

The Women’s Ministry coordinates women’s Bible studies, women’s retreats, and fellowship activities such as potluck brunches, game nights, and a Christmas ornament exchange.  Contact our office at 303-666-4655 or  ctslcsecretary@qwestoffice.net for  more information about our upcoming events.

Ladies Friday Night Book Club

This is an informal gathering of CTS women who read a “Faith Centered” book every month or two and there is no pressure if you can’t attend each meeting.  We engage in meaningful discussion and great fellowship.

The women’s book club will meet at the home of Ann Brandt on Friday February 24 at 6:30pm. The book to be discussed is The Story of Edgar Sawtelle. It is a long book so allow plenty of time for reading.  For more information, please contact Ann Brandt  www.annkbrandt.com

2012 Women’s Retreat Weekend

REGISTRATIONS ARE DUE SUNDAY, FEB 5TH!

Did you know that on the 7th day, before God rested, he created chocolate? All women are invited to explore how richly, extravagantly, and surprisingly God indulges us with his love and grace.

What better metaphor for grace is there than chocolate? We will laugh, cry, rejoice and worship together exploring how God’s grace is rich and transforming. We will walk with each other through Bible study, nature walks, games and free time exploring how God’s grace is a gift. As always, friends are welcome to join us!
